Graphic Communications
coursewordle
In the Graphic Communications program, students are presented with the basic steps involved in producing a printed piece by the offset printing process.  Working through the processes of computer layout and design, copy preparation, film image, proofing, platemaking and press and binder operation, this course is designed as a hands-on learning experience, supplemented by assignments from curriculum materials and textbooks.

Graphic Communications II is an advanced program that expands on areas previously learned through individual work and small group activities.  Students focus on advanced competencies of the printing industry and have the opportunity to create their own curriculum.  Opportunities to participate in industry internships and/or apprenticeships are also available.  Post-secondary credits through Dunwoody College of Technology for eligible students.
