        YouthBuild
is a high school program that enables CSEC to teach occupational, academic and work-related skills while functioning cooperatively with many other agencies to increase housing opportunities for low income families in Carver and Scott counties.

Students who are successful in the program have an interest in learning construction skills for personal use or as a career goal.  Anyone who is 16 years old +, and who is not attending high school, is eligible to apply.

Service to the community is a major focus of this program, which has won the Governor's Youth Service Award - identifying it as an exemplary program for youth service.
